Courses
2 Hours - Max 8 Students
We offer classes designed to fit every level, from intermediate to advanced. You’re welcome to come month-to-month or enjoy all year long.
EVERY CLASS MUST INCLUDE A GLAZE CLASS. It is best to take three classes per month and THEN the glaze class.
This disclaimer indicates that the class fee covers the instruction, studio time, and materials (clay, glazes, and kiln firing) for a maximum of two finished pieces per student.
Here is a breakdown of what this policy typically means:
- Included (2 products): You can create, trim, glaze, and fire two pieces (e.g., two mugs, two bowls) within the base class price.
- Additional Items: If you make more than two items and wish to keep them, you will be charged an extra fee for the firing services.
Designed for independent potters who have completed my courses and are ready to refine their practice on their own.
Hours 10am - 6pm
Open Studio: $15/hr
Monthly Membership: $150/mo
Firings: $5 - $10 each
Pottery Painting
Come whenever - bring a friend or family. So fun for children - pick a piece to paint, and I will fire it for you!
Class Schedule
Calendar only shows one week at a time.
Classes are scheduled on the days marked with a dot.
Expanding to include other arts and crafts soon
We’d be excited to offer painting with watercolor, sewing, knitting and crochet, and floral design. Because why stop at clay, when there’s a whole world of art waiting for you!

Classes
We currently offer hands-on classes in pottery, but are excited to announce we’re looking to introduce many other types of crafts as well! It is recommended that you take three classes for the month and then the glaze class. But yes, you are allowed to take one – three classes and then the glaze class.
SPECIAL EVENTS
We’re located inside Urban Basics in Battle Ground, Washington.
Along with our regular classes, we also host private events—perfect for birthdays, bridal showers, and creative celebrations of any kind.
I also love teaching wellness-focused workshops for businesses.

Crafting Dreams in Clay: Our Journey
After taking pottery classes for nine years, and absolutely loving every moment of it, Poterie Art Studio was opened in February 2025. I was nervous, excited, and hopeful that others would fall in love with this craft the way I did. After teaching my very first class, I realized just how fun this journey could be. The people who come to learn are kind, enthusiastic, and eager to try something new. I’ve met so many wonderful members of the community, and it inspires me to keep creating a space where anyone can explore a hobby or craft—whether with a friend, a family member, or simply as a little time for yourself. Art has a way of healing, too. Many people find that working with clay or other crafts feels like a form of therapy, offering calm, focus, and a moment to breathe. That’s something we celebrate here at Poterie Art Studio.
